| Meet Brett
A LIFE BUILT ON SERVICE
Proven leadership. Rooted in Wylie.

22+
YEARS MARRIED
Brett Fagan was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview where he studied history and played baseball. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army for 12 years as a Military Police Officer. During his time in the service, he served in numerous leadership roles as well as special assignment positions. He has also made multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom after 9/11. He was later medically discharged for an injury sustained during an airborne operation.
Brett met his wife, Rebecca, while they were both serving in the Army. Married for more than 22 years, they have two children who attend or have attended Wylie ISD. Their oldest graduated from Wylie East High School in 2026 after participating in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities. Their youngest began Pre-K as an Akin Frog and is now a sophomore Raider at Wylie East.
Brett's professional experience includes military leadership, retail management, owning and operating a current local small business, and a former WISD employee. During his time with the district, he was a school bus driver and had the privilege of safely transporting students and staff to and from school and field trip activities.
